Zenaida “Zeny” David Marcelo Funeral.

On top of our most recent loss (Major Ryan Scott David) approximately a week later Auntie Zeny followed. This month of July 2012 is been one of the toughest for our family. Despite of the sadness and pain we are rest assured that God is with them in a place where there is no more pain, depression, suffering. They are also enjoying their glorified body. While browsing through my facebook, I found this profound post made by her one and only son Ron David Marcelo

Written by Ron: “Now that the funeral is over… there’s a bittersweet relief. I don’t know what to think. I don’t want to be alone but here I am in an empty house. With memories floating around. With thoughts coming and going. Things are about to get REAL now… and I don’t know what to expect. I miss you mommy. I hope I made you proud. ♥”

We all know and aware that one day we will leave the earth and face the gates of heaven. The question is, how are you going to be remembered?  Auntie Zeny is remembered as one of the most thoughtful Auntie we all had. With our busy schedule, we sometimes forget to greet happy birthdays to family members but definitely not Auntie. I still remember, she was the first one to greet me on my 28th birthday. I really felt special, specially coming from someone who overcame a lot of adversities and great challenges in life. I can  go over and over talk about the good things about our favorite Auntie. Good bye and rest in peace. We love you…
